At Fusion, we exist to create thoughtful spaces, places and homes that enrich, enhance and inspire whoever lives within them.---My responsibilities as Property Services Manager at Fusion Group include managing and supporting on a number of projects across the different business functions, maintaining the monthly loan drawdown requests and cost tracking for multi million pound construction developments, and programme managing key business information and critical paths.

The Cost Management function are responsible for managing the project costs, risks, and cost variations of Tesco's construction programme, to advise the business on whether individual construction projects and overall development programmes are within budget.My role required me to manage stakeholders to deliver multi-million pound cost plans for construction approval, whilst controlling cost variations, risks and opportunities. I presented complex cost plans to Senior Managers & Property Directors for cost approval, and reported our weekly cost position to key Property Stakeholders.

The Programme was a 10 month change project, undertaken to restructure the Property Procurement team (of circa 30 people) to improve the department's operation and outputs. My responsibilities as Project Manager included managing the day-to-day activities in the Project Plan and reporting progress to the Project Board, facilitating the weekly governance meetings and managing project documents (such as Project Budget, Change Control and Risks & Issues tracker). The role required me to engage and influence project stakeholders & Property Directors to drive the project forward.

My role as a Lead required me to act a link between the team and my Line Managers, and support through decision making and representing them at the Pre-Board Governance meeting.

Development Planning was the team responsible for managing the architectural design of Tesco's stores, focusing primarily on feasibility studies and planning submissions. My role required analysing information, managing stakeholders and decision making to deliver architectural proposals for new sites. I would present the proposals to an audience of 20 people at a fortnightly governance meeting to obtain design approval from my Director, before the scheme would proceed to the Main Board for final approval.

I built a strong network across Tesco Property and the wider business and completed the Property Graduate Scheme to be signed off into full manager role in Development Planning.
