As a Director of Engineering at SmartRent, I spearhead a dynamic team of engineering managers and their respective teams. We are at the forefront of developing and delivering innovative IoT solutions, with a primary focus on Property Management solutions. Additionally, our projects include pioneering Self-Guided Tours and the development of tooling to empower our internal teams across the organization. I have almost 20 years of experience in software engineering, with a heavy Javascript bias of course, though I've been all over the place language wise. Before joining SmartRent, I was a Senior Engineer at Elm Street Technology, where I played a key role in several projects. Most notably, I was instrumental in building a CRM and website platform from the ground up, which integrates with hundreds of MLSs nationwide. I am deeply passionate about creating products that enhance the lives of customers and clients, aligning with the company's mission and vision.
