Senior Consultant and Technical Architect working mainly on Airbus, focusing on development and documentation of Best Practice methods and techniques for Electronic Product Definition, (EPD), including; Parametric modelling, Design for manufacture, Zoning, and data management. Responsible for managing team of on-site consultants and generating consultancy revenue of £250K per quarter.Computervision representative on the Airbus Concurrent Engineering futures group.Organised and hosted visits to Airbus for key accounts, including; Hughes Space & Communications, and IPTN.Major contributor in the evaluation and development of Computervision’s new Microsoft Windows CAD application, Pro/DESKTOP, providing comprehensive feedback to R&D on successive software builds.Received company excellence award for work on the Tupolev deal.

Principal role in Airbus 3 month on site benchmark & evaluation of Computervision’s EPD solution. The result of this evaluation was the biggest CAD/CAM/CAE/EDM order in Computervision’s history ($26 million).Received the company's highest excellence award for key role in Airbus deal.Solutions Architect working on implementation of Computervision PLM and CAD solutions in Airbus. Represented Computervision on the Airbus Concurrent Engineering group. project management for the implementation, development and support activities. Lead an 8 strong team responsible for delivering Airbus contractual commitments and additional training and consultancy.

Implementation of Computervision's CADDS 5 parametric CAD software into Short Brothers (Aerospace). Development of Strategic Plan for Electronic Product Definition for the Global Express jet.Major contributor in the development of the DASA-IPD/IPA demonstration/presentation.Co-presenter of DASA IPD/IPA presentation to DASA, and DASA main board of Directors.Lead role in British Aerospace Airbus RFI and subsequent successful benchmark.Delivery of consultancy at Short Brothers on the LEAR Jet 45 project developing best practice methods for design of aircraft components and systems.Recieved outstanding achievement awards for work on Lear Jet45.Joined Computervision as Application Engineer. Working on flag-ship accounts including Rolls Royce and the Digital Pro-Assembly demonstrator project for the first full electronic design and mock-up of the RR Trent engine.

Served a 4-year mechanical apprenticeship in the research and development facilities at BNFL headquarters, gaining experience and technical skills in all aspects of engineering. Qualified in Engineering Production. The following 3 years based in the Vessel Design Group designing vessels for the THermal Oxide Reprocessing Plant, (THORP), working mainly on CADDS 4X on a CDS 4000 system and becoming Lead User.Transferred to the Computer Applications Group for the evaluation of CAD systems and their suitability for use in the various BNFL engineering departments. In the last year involved in the specification and execution of a major benchmark for a dimension/table driven design system, (now known as parametric design) for the design of vessels, associated equipment, and fittings.
