Our business uncovers organizations in need of accounting related software. Each business is interviewed to determine the specifics for software needs. The software project is then written up and provided to software sellers who review the project needs and request those projects that have interest. We then match with interested sellers with qualifed projects based on the project needs and sellers capabilities.Currently over 10,000 projects are qualified each year for organizations in need of software.

Nationwide seminar series held in conjunction with numerous state CPA societies with a focus on providing information on accounting software technology options available for CPAs and their clients. This series was held from 1993 thru 1999 with as many as 41 different locations in a given year throughout the US and Canada.

Software development firm who attempted to develop an accounting software package for manufacturers that was simple to use and customizable. Originally developed in FoxPro specifically for use by a manufacturer in Central Wisconsin. The individual responsible for the software development was a principle at the manufacturer and sold his position to try to commercialize the software package.

Software Centre International was one of the first franchises that focused on retail software sales. My partner and I opened what was the 100th franchise to open. Unfortunately, shortly after opening one of the three franchisor owners died (George Tate of Ashton-Tate dBase founder). His death left the franchisor in complete disarray and lead to a prolonged franchisor / franchisee legal battle that ended up with few franchisee's remaining including this one.
