Notable assignments include:- Project Director and Strategy Consultant, Agroinvestbank, Tajikistan: a key member of the consulting team to this commercial bank, sponsored by the EBRD- Consultant, Riyad Bank, Saudi Arabia: Part of a team developing a proposition for the micro- and small-enterprise segment for this leading commercial bank under a project funded by the IFC - Project Director and Lead Consultant, Making Finance Work for Africa: a major study of the market for financial services to agricultural value chains in sub-Saharan Africa. The study encompasses Kenya, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia, and engaged with specific agricultural value chains including coffee, dairy, mangos, pineapple, cocoa, sesame, and cashews amongst others.- Project Director, Capital Markets Development Programme: A World Bank funded assignment for the National Bank of Ethiopia. Led a team developing the legal infrastructure for the development of local capital markets, including a new draft capital markets law currently proposed to legislators. The assignment also developed an implementation plan for the development of market infrastructure.- Lead Consultant, Saudi Arabian Bank: A project to develop the non-financial services offering for SME customers of this state-owned bank including a major market research exercise, an internal diagnostic, a review of best practice in provision of support services for SMEs, and the development of a set of strategic options for market development.Other activities included contribution to Maxwell Stamp's response to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Microfinance.

Responsible for implementing strategic development and change within the Financial Institutions department, which manages banking relationships with other financial institutions.
