With a total of over 20 years involved in the construction, more than 25 years traveling and working in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and 10+ years specifically working with the construction sector in the Middle East and Africa, I have been charged with helping grow the regional presence for InEight in EMEA and building the sales and support operations to spread the InEight software capabilities. This will allow InEight to expand to construction and industrial companies in this region, where the vision and need for an interoperable project lifecycle management platform is most advanced.I came to InEight more than 5 years ago (for the second time) after working as a consultant to develop large construction projects in the Middle East and Africa. My professional background and education makes me ideal for this role. Hard Dollar is an award-winning project estimating and cost management software program designed for the construction, energy and industrial manufacturing sectors. Main role was a Solutions Engineer, and Implementation Team Leader. Key tasks were:- Sales- training- implementationDuring this time accomplished the following:- Cold calling to generate new business- Customer support: helping new and existing customers will better understanding and efficient use of the software.- Lead the sales team for two of the largest sales at that time in the company (including Duke Energy).- Lead the implementation at Duke Energy- Started by selling to heavy civil contractors but developed a sales strategy to sell into the energy sector.- Developed updated training program. Led this training effort.- Assisted with marketing for project management software- Acted as liaison between the construction community and the software programmers, to help develop and implement new tools for the software
