Monitored operator and process tech performance and attendance, schedule overtime as production needs arise, maintain operator certification program, ensure close loop corrective action for misprocessed and mishandled product lots.Ensured that PM related assemblies were disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled by the techs for upcoming scheduled pms, assisted techs with routine preventive maintenance, Including chamber wet cleans, diffusion tube changes and cleanings, reactor lamp changes, sputter tool target changes, implanter source changes, chem fills and bottle changes. Monitored spare parts inventories, reordered, and sent out assemblies in need of out side vendor repair. Directed chemical deliveries and gas bottle changes to ensure seamless wafer production and maximum possible tool up-time. Scheduled all tool vendor training and OJT for technicians and monitoring technician's tool related certifications. Implemented Tool Ownership Program, whereby equipment techs where made resident experts of individual tools/tool sets for purposes of spec revision, training and certification, PM frequency evaluation studies, tool up-time and utilization studies, KPIs, and up-time improvement projects.
