About Michael Czaplinski

I love creating and working on products that intersect science and creative arts. This spans industries like video game consoles, embedded electronics, professional audio and sound renforcement, as well as lighting and control systems (robotics ect).I have a passion for learning, and you can generally find me engrossed in some form of research on a variety of topics. I consider the world of engineering an art and I am always happy to talk about the latest thing I am working on. (Currently PCB Layout/Design, Audio Amplifiers/Speakers, Intellectual Property and Patents, finding clever ways to get information from embedded systems (forensics))I enjoy working with a diverse team of people on difficult problems to come up with creative solutions and implement them. I love nothing more than taking a wild idea and making it real with a great team.I have worked on the full gamut of product development from conception to design, manufacturing, and sustaining. My background allows me to speak multiple technical languages, giving the ability to work at both the macro and micro levels of development, removing roadblocks to communication all while generating creative solutions for product improvement, new market and technological opportunities. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in collaborating on an interesting project.

  • Volt
Microsoft Developer Support Technical Router/ Universal Agent
    Volt Oct 2002 - Sep 2003
    Buffalo, New York, Us
Worked as a Developer Phone support and customer support router. I took cold calls from Developers and the General public at large. When you called Microsoft.. you got me or one of about 10 other people. I would diagnose and solve peoples problems right on the phone or if the problem could be solved by a specialist I could route the call to them directly to attack deep dive issues or large company accounts. I learned about people that use products and how helpless they can become but overjoyed when given the attention they deserve.
