I'm a career IT professional with a focus on information security. My passion has always centered on infosec, from managing teams of security engineers to developing security solutions to performing penetration tests and everything in between. Some of my favorite work has been in cloud security, PKI (certificates), infrastructure security, and of course host security. I don't see information security as an absolute. Security should deliver value to IT, not reduce value. I'm a huge promoter of the balance of security with other requirements including usability, cost, and functionality.
