I began as a Data Center Technician I, working for the Data Center Operations team in the Phoenix area. In this role I provided hands-on support for both dedicated customer servers and corporate enterprise servers using ITIL processes to meet all corporate SLA goals. I also supported the build out of new rack space and infrastructure to support new customer growth and current hardware refresh projects.Since October 2010 I have worked as a Team Lead for Data Center Operations for Go Daddy in the Phoenix area. As a team leader I supervised a team of 5 or more technicians in meeting all corporate support SLA's for external and internal customers in a >10k server, 24/7 environment. General duties for the team included break-fix troubleshooting of hardware and configuration for servers and infrastructure in a live, high-availability environment, net new server installs and existing server hardware refreshes.In January of 2014 I left Go Daddy to pursue full-time educational opportunities. Coordinated the provisioning for, and installation of, complex data center hardware equipment. Manage and perform installation and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and storage devices. Provided capacity planning and management for current and planned installation projects. I actively participated in creating and documenting procedures for deploying equipment into the facilities first high density hot-isle containment rack system.

Totality Corporation was acquired by MCI which in turn was acquired by Verizon. Verizon now operates Totality under its brand name.Continued executing my responsibilities and duties I performed prior to the transition from Totality to Verizon, including on call hardware support, data center equipment installations, and inventory maintenance.I assisted in migrating the staff and operations from the former Totality offices to the Verizon offices in downtown San Francisco, including the 24x7 Network Operations Center.

As the Sr. Hardware Technician I participated as the primary resource in many new data center hardware deployments for both internal projects and external clients. I was responsible for ensuring the received inventory matches the bill of materials for the particular project, and that all inventory information was collected and entered into the corporate database, and registered with the appropriate service and support organizations. Following the project build plan, I integrated any internal components required for each machine to include memory, interface cards, hard drives, CPUs, and host bus adapters. Using the project rack diagram I racked all equipment to the manufacturers specifications, also accurately labeling all the equipment and patch panels.

Agilent Technologies is the former Test & Measurement division of Hewlett-Packard, spun off as a seperate company in November 1999.I continued my job duties supporting the Performace Signal Generator line of products as an electronic technician.

Working as an electronic bench technician, I supported the Performance Signal Generator production line at the Rohnert Park, CA factory. My primary responsibility was to test each instrument to ensure it met all published specifications, and repair any failures found to published specifications. I worked on both new production instruments as well as customer repair and warranty repair instruments. Using electronic schematics and specification guides, I diagnosed and isolated errors down to the component level and performed the necessary repairs. I have excellent skills in soldering and de-soldering thru-hole and surface mount components and IC's.
