Day to day maintenance and repair of radio systems in various types of vehicles.Deployed overseas where my roles included set up and maintenance of VTC and providing technical advice and repair services to senior staff at the main in-country site employing over ten thousand local and multi-national foreign personnel.While overseas, spent several weeks managing a remote installation providing a secure communications link to the main site in the area. This mostly involved repair and maintenance of telephone cables and maintaining the satellite link to the main site in an extremely hostile environment.Also spent a period of time attached to a large foreign owned site in the same country maintaining their secure communications to the main in-country site.

One of only four full time staff working at a small part time site providing technical and specialised training to up to 100 part time staff as well as maintenance and repair of communications equipment.
