Planned and coordinated merger of two hospital foundations; grew organization from 200 employees to more than 850 including creation and integration of classification and compensation structure as well as implementation of new benefits program. Advised Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer as well as Executive Management team concerning strategic planning of Human Resource initiatives including employee satisfaction, positive employee communication, potential union issues, organizational risk, growth initiatives, and change management.

Managed a staff of ten including Senior HR Business Partners and EEO Investigators. Directed all aspects of the Labor/Employee Relations and EEO Unit including consulting with Executive Management concerning employment decisions, investigating complaints of workplace discrimination, harassment, and unfair hiring practices, and assisting in negotiation and drafting of labor contracts and side letters with SEIU, Local 21, IBEW Local 6, Plumbers Local 38, Stationary Engineers Local 39, and others.

Represented clients in labor and employment, insurance, landlord/tenant, defamation, and other civil litigation matters.

Prepared criminal and civil complaints and assisted District Attorney in all aspects of cases concerning unfair business practices and consumer and insurance fraud.
