I never thought I would crash and burn.Especially after raising $10M from top VCs, building a coveted brand, and being featured in dream publications like The New York Times and Tim Ferriss' book Tools of Titans. But after nearly 10 years in Silicon Valley, I was completely burnt out. I made all the classic mistakes: imposter syndrome, trying to do everything myself, not asking for help. I wrecked my health, my happiness, and the results I was achieving as a founder and CEO. The surprising thing that got me though the tough times - and helped me turn everything around - was hiring a CEO coach. I was skeptical at first, but working with a coach changed my life and my career. After crawling my way out of burn out, I had the honor of advising and coaching start-ups that in just 5 years grew from Seed stage to $3B in total valuations. I became a Venture Partner at a VC fund aligned with my values. And most importantly, I learned to enjoy the ride.Today, I coach a select group of founders that are ambitious, ethical, and have a voracious appetite to improve themselves. We typically start after Series A funding and our goal is to take it all they way to IPO or acquisition.
