Mike has created more than 3,000 jobs across 7 companies over the last 15 years.As a successful businessperson and social impact entrepreneur, Mike has proven that the best businesses exercise moral behavior and the power of the free market while investing in their workforce to maximize their efficiency. This vision drove Mike to found Fair Trade Outsourcing (FTO), a business process outsourcing company inspired by the principles of the Fair Trade movement with call centers in the Philippines, Ghana, and Mexico. Since 2016, Fair Trade Outsourcing delivers superior results for clients by valuing its employees, ensuring their safety, and improving their economic welfare. Growing from zero to nearly 1,500 employees in just 5 years, the unique management model at FTO builds the capabilities of its employees by focusing on their social welfare and economic progress, dubbed the “Agent ProsperityTM” model. By investing in employee wellbeing, FTO creates unheard of levels of work ownership from its Agents, solving the low-quality, high-attrition problems that are chronic throughout the outsourcing industry. As an entrepreneur, Mike has founded and run companies in the software, medical, solar, and outsourcing industries. He is an active owner and advisor for Ponderosa Medical Billing, LLC and Lumiqualis, LLC. He is also the Founder and CEO of 15toKnow, LLC, a rapid testing company operating on-demand, drive-through, and mobile in-place and mobile setup respiratory pathogens testing labs and has administered over 300,000 Covid-19 tests and 20,000 Covid-19 vaccinations in 7.5 months. As a social activist, Mike fights against economic injustice, targeting policies and systemic barriers that do not allow individuals to climb the economic ladder. He is an active Angel investor and takes great pride in mentoring entrepreneurs to create companies of tomorrow that will also make social and economic progress for themselves, their employees, and their communities. Mike is a graduate of George Washington University. Mike lives with his wife Lori and their three sons, who split their time between suburban Philadelphia and Cobbs Creek, Virginia on the Chesapeake. He has lived and worked in almost a dozen countries on 4 continents and speaks four languages.
