Test Engineer
Lead Test Engineer for a new high volume custom device's test solutionAs a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for this new test development, I was the lead customer contact and primarily responsible engineer for the test solution. Here are some highlights:- Led a team of 3 Test Engineers developing a 32-site solution on the Teradyne UltraFLEX test platform- Primary individual for all customer contact related to the Test Program/Device Characterization- Helped create the test hardware and test program software for a 32-site solution on the Teradyne UltraFLEX test platform- Managed timelines and action items for the Test Program. This included Characterization, Test Time Reduction, customer contact, Release to Production/Manufacturing data collection and analysis- Ultimately released the test solution to production on time and at yield/test time targets
Validation Engineer
Validation Engineer for several new custom devicesAfter graduating from the Product/Test/Validation Rotation Program, I assisted with the Validation of a new high volume custom device. Here are some highlights:- Developed TestStand and LabView code interfacing with existing hardware to ensure proper DUT functionality across Process, Voltage and Temperature (PVT)- Created several analysis and reporting tools in Python. These tools worked to aggregate, analyze and upload large amounts of test/validation data, and to create customer-ready reports of the data
Product, Test And Validation Engineering Rotation Program
TI's Product, Test and Validation Rotation Program is a 2 year rotation program focused on developing new Product/Test/Validation Engineers. The program contains two 1-year rotations, where each rotation embeds the rotator into a Product, Test, or Validation Engineering role. Additionally, new engineers in this program go through TI's Make an Impact program, which focuses on general career development for new college graduates.Test Engineer (Rotation 2, 2020-2021) - Assisted in the tester platform conversion of an automative safety-critical device from the Teradyne IFLEX to the Teradyne UltraFLEX. The conversion to a new roadmap test platform enabled much higher test throughput and much shorter test times. Here were some of my highlights:- Implemented nWire Protocol Aware, which reduced communication times for typical SPI/I2C transactions by over 95%. This feature was new-to-TI, so I also created documentation for this feature and submitted the results to the yearly TI Innovation In Test Workshop (IITW)- Created a Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) code module for the UltraFLEX, which focused on finding potential test program issues and verifying safe code execution from all code exit points.Validation Engineer (Rotation 1, 2019-2020) - Assisted in the Validation of several high-volume custom silicon New Product Development Efforts. In this role, I developed hardware and software to validate device functionality for all parameters on the specification datasheet. Here are a few highlights:- Created a breakout board PCB using Altium to connect a DUT to existing hardware- Created test sequences in National Instruments TestStand and LabView to interface bench automation hardware to the DUT- Submitted 1 Invention Disclosure related to thermal control & 3D printing (Recommended for a TI internal Manufacturing Incentive Award)- Presented results to customer weekly & developed working relationships with the customer
Electrical Engineer Intern
Electrical engineering internship at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS)Electrical Engineer Intern — Factory/production sustainment Electrical Engineer of new, repaired, and upgraded Electro-Optical Targeting Systems (EOTS)- Worked hands-on in troubleshooting complex multi-discipline systems- Became familiar with software/firmware interface to electromechanical systems
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Co-Op
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Co-op — Helped design/coordinate electrical modifications for military aircraft.- Responsible for the power distribution system, including design of external and internal wiring/harness diagrams, connector pinouts, and circuit breaker box/control panel CAD models- Designed wiring diagrams for intercommunication systems, among others- Software used: Capital Electrical and Harness Design Suite, Siemens NX, Microsoft ExcelDoD Secret Security Clearance — Current
