The application communicated with the E-Cig via BTLE and allowed the user to view properties, change preferences and contact customer support.Implemented an Android application for a US Top 100 retailer. Applicationallowed users to store and use their loyalty card, make pharmacy and deli purchases and redeem coupons.Created exercises to evaluate prospective employee’s Android and Java background.Planned and organized the Charlotte based Android Meetup group.

Secure Android Handset ImplementationLead developer for the implementation and integration of the software components needed to create a channel for TOP SECRET voice and data on Android.Key Contributions included:- Java Swing desktop application to automate provisioning tasks needed to harden the Android handset.- File system monitor written in C that leveraged the iNotify Linux subsystem- Custom su (root) binary that leveraged a three tier check to meet security requirements. Defined Git branching strategy for the team and coached in-experienced developers on how to use Git. IV&VServed as an independent party to validate the implementation of embedded cryptographic modules for the Department of Defense. Performed static source code analysis, source code auditing, full requirements tracing from spec to source code. Authored feedback based on findings. Participated in on-site reviews.Designed a secure Key Storage schema for Blackberry OS 7 in Java that adhered to the strict requirements of operating on a device hosting SECRET data.
