About Mike Boucher, Pmp, Csm, Cspo, Six Sigma, Cphims, Pe

Fortunate to follow my career passionFrom my early days studying digital filters in engineering school, I’ve been driven by the desire to apply technical knowledge to create meaningful products. That passion led me to my first role at Peavey Electronics, where I turned theory into practice by developing algorithms for reverb, modeling iconic audio equipment, and even exploring machine learning’s potential in audio processing.Over the years, my career has evolved from professional audio to telecom and mobile, and for the past 14 years, to healthcare. Along the way, I’ve successfully reinvented myself multiple times, transitioning from honing engineering skills to mastering project management. In the past four years I’ve become fascinated with the Internet of Things, where the convergence of IoT, cloud computing, and AI opens new opportunities to develop products and services that improve lives.Three books that have made a difference in my life: • The Wisdom of Listening, edited by Mark Brady• The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz and Janet Mills• Being Mortal, by Atul GawandeWhat I do when I’m not working on IoT projects: • Wine tasting with my wife in Dahlonega GA• Gardening and tending my fig and pear trees• Reading Science Fiction books (favorite book: Path of the Fury by David Weber)I’m driven by a commitment to innovation, lifelong learning, and making a positive impact—both in my work and the lives of those around me.
