Provided a variety of visual communications support for Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) headquarters as the lead graphics designer. Provided photography support for various corporate events. Developed and assisted with the design, layout and production of brochures, name badges, banner stands, posters, signs and other products needed in support of the U.S. Air Force Science and Technology 2030 initiative, AFRL Inspire, and AFRL Fellows Banquet. Provided graphics support for presentations to the top five senior leaders in AFRL. Creative force on the building improvement and internal displays team for AFRL headquarters, initiated much needed improvements to the appearance of the headquarters building such as; selecting paint colors, restroom finishes and tile, updating graphics, signs and displays, acquired estimates for graphics updates, and updated the signage around the building to help the appearance. Photographed the annual AFRL Fellows Award Banquet, DoD Lab Day, and numerous retirement and promotion ceremonies. Volunteered to be a mentor through the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Job Shadow Day, and demonstrated various Adobe Photoshop techniques to the students.

Provided vast visual communications support for Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Commanders Action Group and Corporate Communications Branches as the lead graphics designer. Produced original computer generated artwork and related multimedia for presentations. Developed and assisted with the design, layout, and production of a variety of products including advertisements, briefings, brochures, business cards, posters, large scale displays. Provided photography support for distinguished visitor tours, special corporate events such as DoD Lab Day held at the Pentagon, AFRL Fellows Banquet, CORONA Top, and for AFRL ceremonies. Key team member of the AFRL Inspire project, designing themed graphics, stage-set graphics, and attended the speakers’ practice sessions to provide non-technical feedback to help the speakers craft their TED-Talk like stories. Creative force on the building improvement and internal displays team for AFRL headquarters, suggesting and working much needed improvements to the appearance of the headquarters building such as; selecting paint colors, updating graphics, signs and displays, getting estimates for graphics updates, and staging items in the lobbies to help the appearance. Met with field grade officers and high level managers about projects as needed. Requested to provide interior display improvement suggestions to the AFRL Munitions Directorate (Eglin AFB) and the AFRL 711 Human Performance Wing’s main office (WPAFB), to help with corporate messaging to internal and external customers, stakeholders, academia, industry, and other DoD offices. Volunteered twice to be a mentor through the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Job Shadow Day, and once for the Dayton Regional STEM School’s Women in STEM job shadow mentoring day. Was invited to give a talk at the Dayton Regional Stem School to students interested in pursuing graphics design.

Anteon was acquired by General Dynamics Information Technology.Provided various forms of Air Force graphics and photography support for tech transfer and marketing products in the Air Force Research Laboratory Materials and Manufacturing Directorate. Responsibilities included: digital photography - portrait, laboratory, retouching, and restoring photos; video editing; the design, layout, and production of technical posters, displays, brochures, advertisements, and illustrations; as well as logo designs, business cards, and color viewgraph presentations. Assisted in laboratory and conference room improvements, such as selceting wall color, furniture, and flooring selections, and created artwork and displays. Conceptualized and initiated projects, in addition to projects the customers requested. Mentored AFRL/RX graphics interns, assigning them graphics projects and reviewing it before the customers received the projects.

Supported AFRL Headquarters Plans and Programs Corporate Communications Branch with internal and external marketing products. Duties varied from advertisements, brochures, posters, covers, and color viewgraph presentations. Supported former Wright Laboratory (WL) Operations Support with graphics products. Projects included the layout and production of Success Stories, color viewgraph presentations, and flyers. (WL became part of AFRL) Designed posters, logos, covers, and advertisements for magazines, flyers, tri-folds, brochures, AFRL Fact Sheets, and other marketing products. Scanned and retouched photographs and re-created detailed drawings.

GS employee in Wright Laboratory Operations Support through the STEP student employment program. Assisted with layout and production of Success Stories, annual Success Story book, and other internal graphics products. Designed posters used at the Sensors Directorate ribbon cutting ceremony attended by congressmen. Did layout for the annual Success Story book. Designed book covers, flyers, and matted and framed photos.
