OwnerLandmark Landscape Management Jan 1995 - PresentMike Clough qualified as a Landscape Architect in 1980 whilst working for Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council. Working as a sole practitioner Mr Clough became involved with the Garden Festival movement designing children's play areas at the Liverpool Garden Festival. Building on this experience Mr Clough then worked in the Design Co-ordination Team of the Stoke Garden Festival.Having gained a depth of experience Mr Clough set up a small office in Stockport trading as Michael Clough Associates using his skills to design children's play areas throughout the United Kingdom, winning Design Awards for Moulsham Grange - Play Area for Handicapped Children, Kompan UK Ltd; Kingsdown School - Play Area for Autistic Children; Heywood Adventure Playworld Bolton - Play Area for Mixed Ability Children. The latter being carried out on a Design and Build basis for Bolton Leisure Services Department.As demand for Mr Clough's services grew, the Company expanded by employing a Senior Landscape Architect experienced in Landscape Construction. The Company being re-named at this time as Landmark External Design and Implementation Ltd.

Was also responsible for structure planting to the peripheral site mounding and designed areas for sculpture elements within the park.
