My early career as a racing driver demanded that I had to learn how to deliver valuable marketing returns on my sponsors investments. I discovered then that I have a talent for marketing and I subsequently set up my own marketing agency (Element79) and have since developed a focus on B2B marketing for tech companies. And we still occasionally get involved in sports sponsorship as well! I have now worked in marketing and business development for over twenty years, and I still love the process of putting together that special strategy which delivers new business. There is immense satisfaction to be gained from identifying a business opportunity and crafting the marketing platform, value propositions, strategy, and teams to secure and develop new business deals. Marketing and business development present a constantly evolving set of challenges, especially in the modern digital environment, and it is great to be able to work in such a dynamic capacity and have the opportunity to make a real difference.
