• Playing a lead role in planning policy formulation, including a Spatial Development Framework to guide the development of Ealing (a London suburb) town centre over the next twenty years, supporting in the preparation.
• Helping to steer a number of complex planning applications through the planning process, including a number of large-scale, mixed-use developments, urban extensions of over 1,000 homes and a number of other mixed-use.

Key components included: Handling major planning applications, including a proposal for up to 1,000 residential units, new Council offices and a mix of community uses within an inner London town centre.
