• President of Business Capital Group GMACRescap is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Acceptance Corp. The Business Capital Group (BCG) was one of three business segments within GMACRescap. BCG was a start-up.
• Given the dramatic market downturn in both real estate and credit markets, a major strategic change was necessary. As a member of ResCap’s Executive Committee, developed the strategy to restructure BCG by reducing.
• Shifted organization from an origination focus to asset management, work out and real estate owned groups that successfully sold approximately $90 million of real estate in 2008.
• Directed the development of a compensation plan that retained virtually all key employees and provided severance for those eliminated.
• Facilitated the sale of three business units, creating more than $2 billion in liquidity.

• Provided cross functional management of marketing, credit, human resources, administration, new business ventures and general oversight of direct and indirect reports. Chaired the BCG Executive Committee and Credit.
• Participated in the strategy to acquire Health Care Finance and the start-up of Resort Finance business units that led to $1billion balance sheets for each. Effort included sourcing and hiring of resort finance leaders.
• Selected by executive management to complete a year-long executive development course focused on organizational dynamics, marketing, risk management and leadership.
