Michael helped lead the product development team for Gust Launch, which is Gust's flagship product. His role involves forming and operationalizing partnerships, maintaining a product roadmap, defining business goals, and working with design, development, marketing, and business development to oversee execution and meet those business goals.Prior to leading the Gust Launch product, Michael initiated & led numerous other productinitiatives within Gust to achieve different milestones for the company.

Michael entered Gust as a lead engineer of a 15+ person team. In this role, he worked with product and design to execute on numerous initiatives and he helped foster a consistent product development culture across the engineering and product teams. Gust uses a wide array of technologies, including but not limited to Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, jQuery, Angular, PostgresQL, Sass, and Objective-C.

Michael ran his own web and mobile product development consultancy. In addition to maintaining established software, he mentored early-stage companies to help define and execute MVP products. He focused on iOS, Android, Ruby on Rails, PHP, and JavaScript.

Michael worked for a boutique software development firm out of Madison, Wisconsin where he focused on both project management and engineering of mobile, desktop, and web applications. He worked on software for many fortune 500 companies, including AT&T, UPS, Pepsi, IBM, FedEx, and Johnson & Johnson. He focused on iOS, Android, Ruby on Rails, PHP, C#, Flex, and JavaScript.

While nurturing his existing software and design skills, Michael worked continuously on web, mobile, and desktop software. He primarily focused on iOS, Ruby on Rails, PHP, and JavaScript.

Michael founded Wiscnotes, Inc., a web platform that allowed the students at the University of Wisconsin sell and buy study materials for their classes.

Michael co-founded a small software & design company. True Graphic built websites and designed web and print materials for small businesses. Michael helped develop business relationships and design and build websites for clients.
