During my time in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry, I have always been passionate about improving patient outcomes. Over this period I have been involved in launching class-leading products in multiple areas including cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, oncology and mental health. Of all the areas I have been involved in, an area of significant satisfaction for me has involved leading nurse support teams where patient wellbeing and achieving positive outcomes was always a key focus. This path has now culminated in me working in the digital health environment where we can contribute to better patient outcomes through innovative technologies focused on patient self-management and where necessary clinical oversight. Digital health has always been an area of interest for and I’m really enjoying this opportunity to have a meaningful impact on patient’s lives.

Careforia is designed to cover many different disease areas through its modular design and our current areas of focus include Neurology and Gastroenterology. We will be looking to develop further modules including COPD and Diabetes in 2021 As Head of Business development my role is to work across Design, Marketing and Development to ensure the product meets the needs of the client, be they a clinician or a member of the public. Integral to this is a focus on client and stakeholder development across Public, Private and Not for Profit associations. As we emerge from the impact of Covid I am looking forward to Careforia playing an increasing role in contributing to the patient wellbeing. -
