Primary responsibilities were to generate and implement cost savings projects which involved capital improvements and/or process optimization. This included preliminary lab work, plant testing, economic analysis, process design and evaluation, and startup. Also responsible for process troubleshooting of existing batch and continuous processes. This involved documentation of operating parameters, monitoring process conditions, providing technical analyses, and conduction operational tests on both a day and shift basis.

Was responsible for the design and implementation of projects ranging from equipment replacement to major expansions of existing processes. These projects ranged in value from $1,000 to over $200,000. The work involved equipment and piping design and layout, equipment and material procurement, supervision of installation, and startup upon completion.
