• I was a Paid-On-Call with the DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (OHSEM). Some of the projects I have worked on include, but are not limited to;
• Working Extensively on the Event Ready Program. Event ready is a program designed to help municipalities and other organizations plan for and conduct large scale special events (i.g. fairs, parades, concerts etc.)
• Lead Evaluator for Operation Show Time, a Full Scale Active Shooter Drill Conducted by the Village of Addison.
• Created an Active Shooter, Severe Weather vs Special Event, and Train Derailment Tabletop Exercises as part of OHSEM’s Enhanced Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Class for Senior Elected Officials.
• Assisted in the Facilitation of the OHSEM’s Enhanced Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Class for Senior Elected Officials.
• Assisted in the Facilitation of a Rail HazMat Virtual Tabletop Exercise.

• During my time interning at the DuPage County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (OHSEM) some of the projects I had the opportunity to work on include;
• Assisted in the development, facilitation, and after action report/improvement plan for Operation Power Play. Operation Power Play was a state wide full scale exercise conducted jointly between the state of Illinois.
• Conducted damage assessment after the June 2015 EF-3 tornado in Coal City.
• Participated in two Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations.
• Redeveloped OHSEM’s internship Program.
• Facilitated four External Affairs public outreach events.
