About Michael Greb

As a CPA, I’m all about strategic planning, value enhancement and risk/reward assessment. Pairing that with my deep expertise in business partnerships, including within the medical community and the opportunity to work with the extremely talented teams at MD and Scotiabank keeps, I continue to be extremely excited about opportunities we have to improve the lives of our clients, Canada’s physicians and their families. In 2018 I was a core member of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) and MD teams involved with the CMA's $2.6Bn sale of MD to Scotiabank and simultaneous 10-year affinity partnership between the CMA and Scotiabank, which included a $115 million commitment to Canada's healthcare communities. Since the closing of the transaction I have been an executive member of the team tasked with integrating MD and Scotiabank and achieving key business efficiencies and financial synergies, including through the launch of Scotiabank Healthcare+, a comprehensive banking program for Canada's physicians, and the creation of the Medicus Pension Plan, the first target defined pension plan for Canadian incorporated physicians. Starting from zero in 2018, I also had the privilege to broker more than 40 exclusive endorsement partnerships between MD, Scotiabank and a wealth of associations, regulatory and provincial bodies. And it doesn’t end there. There are indeed many reasons to be proud about our past and excited for our future.
