I have been a communicator, leader, advocate, and streamliner my whole life. From being captain of my varsity basketball team to founding my school's first podcast to being president of my college's student government, I've been given the opportunity to develop a broad base of knowledge and experiences. Regardless of the situation, I've always stayed true to my goal of creating a positive work environment and fostering camaraderie within my team while creating effective solidarity with other organizations. I am usually described as a visionary, but I think of myself as more of a conductor. With my back turned to the audience and my vision in hand, I make sure everyone is on the same page and do my best to maximize their full potential. I am at my best when my team is at their best, so that will always be my focus. This style has served me well, almost invariably accelerating me to the top of organizations, often before I even trust my qualification for a new role. Being constantly thrown into the fire with very little preparation is not only a trend in my life but a long-standing preference. Having your peers look up to you as an authority figure is a responsibility many high schoolers never experience, so when the opportunity arose to use the influence I had accumulated throughout my school to create a group of my peers to meet our needs and the needs of future students, I jumped in with little hesitation. The same can be said for all of my experiences in my life. I am a proactive person by nature and that carries into everything I do.
