I’m a seasoned IT executive, leader and strategist. I’m an expert in building strong teams, business communications, application design and implementation. I've managed teams of up to 650 people (350 internal, 300 contractor), and budgets of ~$150MM.I “grew up” in retail stores. In my role as Vice President of Store, Credit and Multi-Channel Systems at Home Depot – I was responsible for a very large team that transformed Store Operations. We were the first major retailer to be fully EMV capable for debit and credit, end to end encrypted, and fully tokenized. We created a ground breaking mobile device platform that provided applications, phone, walkie-talkie and POS capabilities to associates, saving the company $70M in hardware and labor costs.We built a multichannel order management system supporting 1980 retail stores and HomeDepot.com. This enabled multi-channel shopping capabilities for customers (Buy Online Pick Up in Store, Buy Online Ship to Store, Buy Online Delivery from Store) that account for Billions in annual sales.After Home Depot, I was a Managing Director at Slalom Consulting, where I was responsible for growing customers from sales cycle through delivery and invoicing. Most recently, I was the Chief Information Officer for HD Supply. I'm incredibly proud of all of the work we accomplished - migrating our business to Google Cloud, divesting White Cap and integrating with Interline, creating a data driven enterprise. I keep saying “we” – because it is a pet peeve of mine when leaders say “I”. There is very little anyone can do on their own. It takes a team of people pulling in the same direction – that is my specialty. I don’t care who gets the credit – I just want my team to win.

Leading team of 340+ associates and 300 contractors to build Point-of-Sale, Inventory Management and Credit capabilities for The Home Depot. Also responsible for Home Depot’s Multi-Channel infrastructure (Sterling Commerce). Was able to establish effective relationships with numerous business partners to enable project successes. Highlights:• Led agile transformation across IT shop, introducing and championing XP, TDD and paired programming.• First major retailer to be fully EMV capable for debit and credit.• In September 2014 credit breach, led the effort to isolate the malware and determine the extent of the damage it did. Deployed a new end-to-end encryption software that was in development to ensure the breach was closed.• Led ground-breaking rollout of store mobile device platform in 2010. A first of its kind platform that provided applications, phone, walkie and POS capabilities saving the company $70M in hardware and labor costs. In 2014, followed that up with a refresh that deployed the first enterprise grade Android platform in the world.• Responsible for all Payment capabilities at Home Depot and ensuring they are all PCI compliant.• Enabled multi-channel shopping capabilities for customers (Buy Online Pick Up in Store, Buy Online Ship to Store, Buy Online Delivery from Store) that account for $1.5B in annual sales.• Over the course of 2010 – 2013 helped to shift the tasking to customer service labor hours from 60% tasking to 60% customer service with solutions across inventory management, store merchandising and front end tasks• Built the initial centralized reverse logistics and repair capability for the company in 2011 which saved the company $60M in labor costs. Led efforts to significantly de-task stores, by automating or removing processes. This multi-year effort saved over $200M in store labor annually. -
