I was hired in 2002 to build the art department at Deep Run High School, a state of the art public school with test scores that have consistently been in the top 5 percent of all Virginia High schools for the past 7 years. Our program currently offers its students five levels of studio art and four levels of digital media arts and design.

This is a panel of educators from various disciplines working together to advise the curriculum development for the Institute of Contemporary Art's educational program.

I was responsible for running practice sessions on a rotating schedule, organizing starting lineups, locker-room pre-game motivation, all team oriented graphic design, designing the team brand, and assisting in the ordering and organization of all team gear.During my six years as the assistant coach, our team record bettered each year, and culminated in the AAA Virginia Boys' State Championship in June of 2008.

During my three years as the head coach of Deep Run High School, I was able to lead the team to two consecutive AAA Virginia State Golf Championships. Our 2004 season saw our team earn a 23-0 record with a record setting performance in the Virginia State Championship Tournament.
