The Board has oversight of this wildlife conservation project which is affiliated with the Wildlife Health Center of the Veterinary School of the University of California - Davis.Gorilla Doctors (www.gorilladoctors.org) is an international NGO committed to ensuring the vitality and sustainability of the mountain gorilla and its ecosystems in Rwanda, Uganda and the DRC. The US headquarters for Gorilla Doctors is at the Wildlife Health Center at US Davis and Gorilla Doctors has regional HQs in Rwanda, Uganda and the DRC. The project was begun by Diane Fossey, continued by Ruth Keesling and the Morris Animal Foundation and the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

My practice involves working with life science companies, clinical research organizations, and academic institutions involved in clinical research and development. I regularly draft and negotiate agreements and advise clients involved in U.S.-based and global clinical trials on insurance, indemnity, and intellectual property, among other issues. I am a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and have particular experience counseling clients regarding the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU’s Clinical Trial Information System (CTIS). I routinely advise U.S.-based companies on international data transfers and GDPR compliance. I am a member of the firm’s A.I. Task Force and regularly publish and present on A.I. governance and compliance with a particular emphasis on the use of personal data in A.I. models.I have several decades of litigation experience representing clients in contract and commercial disputes and catastrophic personal injury and death cases.
