The firm faced major product governance legacy issues following historic merger activity – this was a major programme of customer redress based activity, whilst the business migrated and closed legacy IT platforms.• Delivered £45m of customer redress within complex life and pension remediation programme over 2-year period.• Owner of overall stakeholder relationship between product governance and migration programmes, ensuring both programmes worked towards resolving remediation issues.• Recovered a failing project - major review of life and pensions contracts to remove unfair contract terms with in-house legal team, recouped 6 months of lost time to deliver on time.• Led a high-profile project managing a team of 15 skilled contractors to assess historic failings in reporting of high-risk pension transfers. - Led a team of 7 scheme implementation managers across the UK, who were responsible for the successful migration of legacy pension schemes onto a new platform. I was working in a challenging environment with IFA’s, EBC’s and employers, who often did not wish to migrate their existing schemes onto the new platform or use new software.

- Complaint handling of mortgage endowment mis-selling complaints including case decision making and redress calculations and quality checking of other complaint handling colleagues.

Relationship management of Public Sector employers where Standard Life was a top up pension partner for NHS/Civil Service/Police pension arrangements. Designed and delivered staff presentations and latterly supported employee benefits providers in the EBC market.
