My career began in 1996, which seems like the dawn of the internet now, and I've come a long way in honing my strategic thinking, fostering partnerships, and prioritising the end user customer experience.My journey in tech started as a young designer at a web development company in Sydney back in 1996. Over the years, I've transitioned from the design table to the executive suite, understanding every aspect of the business along the way. Today, I'm especially proud to lead a self-funded tech startup that's been continuously operating and creating jobs for over 20 years. What began as an idea around a barbecue with my father has now turned into a successful venture - a testament to our team's resilience and our unique, thriving culture. This legacy, alongside the growth and development of my two wonderful children, serves as a constant reminder of my purpose and the values I stand for.As a strategic leader with an MBA (Technology) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, my mission is to leverage technology to enhance business processes, driving efficiencies and ensuring that resources dedicated to improving social outcomes are not squandered through poor processes. My leadership style is rooted in collaboration and servitude, believing that the best results are achieved when we work together towards a common goal.When I'm not navigating the ShiftMatch ship, you may find me swimming, kayaking, offshore fishing, or sailing to indulge my enthusiasm for all things aquatic.
