NAVEX Global COI Disclosures product (2018-present) delivers a simplified and streamlined solution that allows your organization to gather, track and analyze all types of disclosures. This solution was Navex Globals first product entirely hosted using Amazon AWS cloud services. While working on this product, I had the opportunity to implement selenium-grid based test automation for the product using .NET Core in GitHub. This was also used in the CI/CD pipeline, daily regressions, and to support stage and product deployment validation. I was also able to participate in the integration testing of this application with other applications to enable client provisioning, aggregate data reporting, single sign-on, campaign generation and task management. Much of the testing was done using selenium automation, with Postman for API testing, and MS-Word for manual test documentation.NAVEX Global case management system (2010-2017) guarantees the capture of reports and incidents that come in through Hotline, or other methods, ensuring a consistent process that allows you to collect all the issues and events that pose risk to your organization. As a quality engineer I participate with an agile development team focused on either new development, or improvements to existing functional areas. We utilize 3 week sprints with product release cadence of about every 2 sprints. We automate using C# and Selenium and run automated regressions every night using Jenkins. GitHub is our source code repository, and TeamCity/Octopus is used to automate deployments.

George P Johnson is a global leader in experience marketing. I participate on the team to develop Global Links 2. Global Links is a 24x7 SAS product which allows customers to deploy and manage customized sites which facilitate professional events such as Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne. I participate on an agile development team which utilizes various “tracks” each of which are responsible for specific functional areas. The server technology is Unix based utilizing JBoss, Hibernate and Oracle.

iterasi is a service which allows for the archiving of web pages. With the click of a button, the web page and any dynamic content is saved immediately in an accessible HTML format and stored to a secure personal account. As the Senior Quality Assurance engineer on the team, my role was multi-faceted. I was responsible for the testing of the website as well as our installed browser extensions for all supported OS and Browser combinations. I was the customer support “1st contact” and participated in the authoring of the help content for our site. The automation was developed using Ruby and Watir.

The ARRIS nABLE On Demand Management System gives cable operators the flexibility to manage and deliver any kind of content - FVOD, SVOD, VOD, HD VOD, ad insertion and other On Demand services - from a single platform to a set-top-box in the cable subscribers home. I was responsible for the testing of the On Demand Management system on a variety of set top box manufacturers such as Motorola, Arris, and Pace.

The Hospital Network (THN) provides an interactive television experience for patients during their hospital stay. Patients are provided services via a ‘Set Top Box’ which is connected to their TV. Examples of the services provided are medical applications, internet access, health education videos, patient surveys, and entertainment products. Each of these services has an authoring, client, and reporting/data-mining aspect. My role as QA Lead is to manage, develop, and execute the processes to ensure the best quality deliverables w/regard to the above areas while considering the deployment schedule, available resources, and product requirements. The technologies used were solaris operating systems, with Apache/Struts/Tomcat/Oracle and mozilla on the set top boxes.

I was responsible for the quality assurance for Optimize. The Optimize project is software that provides customized data marts for customers for their targeted marketing campaigns. These data marts allow customers to analyze the results of campaigns to view trends, and customer heuristics. The results of the analyses can be used to ‘fine-tune’ subsequent campaigns.

My role was to develop and execute the test plans and specifications for the successful implementation of client specific banking services prior to customer approval. The successful actualization of this testing would often require excellent communication skills, a deep familiarization of software testing processes, and the ability to perform in a dynamic software environment.

My role began with verifying all the back end processes of order extraction, FTP transmission to lab vendor, and receipt/publication of Order Status back to the practice. I was also responsible for testing the loading of new order catalogs from the lab suppliers, which I eventually automated using SilkTest.

Quality assurance of a Web enabled medical application. This application would allow doctors to create patient records, document a patient encounter, and then store the patient’s record as a chart in our secure web site. Quality assurance of the Electronic Data Interchange “EDI” of Lab results to and from our client server medical application. The application was Oracle based, and the file formats used were both HL7 and ASTM. I was responsible for verifying the validity of the data exchange using all possible data sets, as well as verifying that our generated files represented the correct syntax for the chosen file format. As a clinical content specialist, I was responsible for the testing of clinical kits. These kits would extend the capabilities of the Logician application for specialized clinical areas such as Cardiovascular, or Diabetes.These roles heavily leveraged automation using SilkTest, and the database was Oracle.

I developed, and implemented an automated test suite for a new component of their ATE test development software. I was also responsible for the maintenance of their existing suites of tests.

I developed, executed, and documented test suites for ALL OrCAD software products. These products ranged from Schematic Capture, Digital simulation, PC Board layout and VHDL synthesis, programming and simulation. Fresh off my degree as a Computer Engineer, I was a "kid in the candy store" with all this software to design with and test.
