As a founding principal of Helix Architecture + Design, Mike has managed some of the firm’s most prominent academic and civic projects. His ability to navigate complex projects with numerous stakeholders is evident in the nationally-recognized, $250-million renovation of the Richard Bolling Federal Building, he was able to coordinate the 14-year endeavor, requiring asbestos and lead abatement, while successfully maintaining full tenant occupancy within the building. Mike’s ability to consistently provide exceptional service and inspiring design solutions that exceed their expectations has resulted in long-term relationships that span multiple projects.Since his retirements, Mike now brings his unique perspective to his art studio (www.HeuleArts.com) located in the creative Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Missouri, where he explores the craft of contemporary art and graphics through a wide range of media.
