Drawing upon 32 yrs of manufacturing experience and 29yrs of programming experience I create NC mill and turning programs using NX 9 CAD/CAM software for components of large gas turbine engines. Develop manufacturing processes for newly manufactured gas turbine helicopter engines. create work instructions and inspection documents for static components within the gas turbine engine using Catia V5 CAD software.

Design CAD models of various intake manifolds using NX CAD software. Oversee the prototyping of the new manifold design done by an outside vendor. Assist in the training of other CAM programmers in the transition to NX software. Assist the machine shop by creating CAM programs during the times of heavy workloads.

Create CNC lathe and 5-axis mill programs using NX CAM software for the whole plant. Create GRIP programs using NX software that created CNC lathe programs to facilitate quick part turn around on custom designs. Create solid models for fixturing to support the entire plant.

Create CNC programs for the special tools division using NX CAD/CAM software. Advise designers on the manufacturing feasibility of the design of the special tools. Assist in the enhancement of the NX CAM post-processors.

Create Parametric 3D CAD models of turning inserts.

Manufacture prototype components for precision gear boxes. Manufacture production fixtures and gauging to be used through out the plant.
