I am passionate about operating a morally and ethically superior business that provides exceptional service to everyone that it interacts with and that stands behind everything that it does. On that note, I am part owner and President/CEO of Hawaiian Experience Spa, a small but growing Hawaiian themed day spa chain based in Phoenix, AZ. The spa provides exceptional experiences for its customers through massage therapy, couples massages, and esthetics (facials). In total, the spa has over 80 different treatments to choose from, all provided in a unique and relaxing Hawaiian atmosphere. The spa's Spirit of Aloha Statement is (similar to a mission):- To provide an exceptional relaxation or therapeutic spa experience to every client every time.- To provide an exceptional, rewarding and enjoyable work experience to our ‘ohana (employees) by treating them like partners, not commodities.- To spread the Spirit of Aloha so more people, both clients and ‘ohana, can benefit from the Hawaiian Experience.My role at the spa is to set our vision, implement a strategy to get us there and ensure that we stay on track. This involves an immense array of things such as leading and coaching ohana; setting polices; choosing marketing platforms and content; ensuring we are legally compliant and handling legal matters; managing finances; and much more. On the personal side, I am a passionate martial artist and an absolute perfectionist. I am driven by a desire to always do what is correct and a compulsive need to comprehend everything. When I am not working you will find me training, hiking, and expanding my knowledge/education (via college and via personal research/books,etc.).
