Mike is a retired communications consultant and pilot who has specialised in strategy design and communicating change. He has worked with SMEs, charities and in political communications, as an advisor to shadow ministers. He has extensive experience at home and abroad, in central government PR and in policy-diplomatic communications, where he held the highest security clearances. Mike's background includes programme/ project management, contingency planning, crisis management, training design and management tutoring. He studied intercultural strategy as a Fellow at King’s College London.Mike’s campaigns have achieved favourable effects on local community, regional, national and international audiences. In 2000, his analysis and strategy design quickly led to a UN SCR. In international public affairs, he provided a focal point for communication and engagement with 87 nations’ diplomats. Developing cross-government, multi-agency networks with industry, NGOs and academia, he transformed his team, reduced staff and costs, enhanced UK brand reputation, set international standards and guest lectured at the Ecole Militaire, in Paris. He retains his strategic insights through membership of Chatham House and other forums.Mike has worked as a commercial yachtmaster instructor, and has supported youth development charities.
