Managing the C&P activities of the bid including management of a complex supply chain, use of innovative commercial models, (inc. output based contracting) as well as support to Finance function for developing a cash positive multi-currency payment profile. Day to day dealing with VP level representatives, both internally and externally as well as liaising with MODSAP to ensure the Royal Decree effective between the UKG and SAG is adhered to.

Led commercial, contractual and pricing strategy at site level and support to divisional and global commercial activities.Ownership of key customer accounts with Airbus and Agusta Westland.Focus activity was price realisation whereby contracts and long term pricing agreements were interpreted and price increases (contributing to divisional profit targets) were implemented.

Role focused on management of contracts within the Defence/ Commercial IT industries, as well as Commercial Management of New Business both in the domestic market and internationally.During the first 12 months within Lockheed Martin I was honoured with an award for 'Building Effective Relationships' with key internal and external stakeholders such as UK MD, UK VPs, functional Directors and key senior members within our Customer community.

Main role was within the Radar Business stream managing complex MoD Radar Contracts as well as being the Commercial lead for bids into Chile and Korea.Responsibilities:Commercial management for a major communications programme developed for the UK MoD;In Service Support (ISS) contract management for a high value Radar Contract (UK MoD);Central Commercial activities (Lease agreements, procurement strategy and support services, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia).Key transferable experience and skills:Assistance in the formulation of a Procurement Strategy for c£3 billion worth of spend;Creation of a Legal Claim Strategy to mitigate financial exposure for a complex £300 million Radar Contract;Day-to-day dealings with Senior Management and influential leaders within UK MoD and Royal Saudi Air Force; andAdvanced SAP and iSIS Database Management knowledge.
