Directly managed a team of twelve students to run and manage the front desk of Olympia Avenue Residence Hall on the Washington State University campus. I was responsible for hiring a team of desk assistants and resident advisors, creating a work schedule, and managing individuals time. This position required collaboration with the Residential Education Director (RED) of the hall to manage an additional team of five Resident Advisors. These QTOs were frequently used to support my authorization requests and to verify subcontractor pricing. This position required me to collaborate with the project engineer team and project managers everyday. Critical thinking, working with others, and diligence are skills I used on a daily basis.

• Performed lumber, steel, masonry, and concrete takeoffs for a $6 million, 41,131 sq.ft. residential project on Mercer Island.• Assisted the lead estimator in developing preliminary budget proposals.• Worked with schematic designs for a residential remodel and talked with subcontractors regarding unit pricing to develop a rough order of magnitude budget.• Job shadowed project managers and project engineers, took site meeting notes, and helped with bid cost comparisons.• Helped to create construction site mitigation plans for projects in the City of Medina and for Mercer Island.
