Yankee Candle, Worlds Finest Chocolate and Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough. We are responsible for marketing, lead generation, followup and closing all sales. Also, administration through the process and interfacing with the various vendor operating systems. Our seller goals have been met each season, growing from 14,000 sellers to 40,000 sellers in 2018.

I was hired to help grow the residential window presence of their flagship window brand, Eagle Windows. I called on Architects and Builders in the historic window and residential markets, ie.( Ithaca, Saratoga, Rhinebeck ). Within 6 months of starting I began preparing bids for commercial window projects as well. I worked with a great team of Engineers and Fabricators who shared their knowledge of commercial window systems and accessories. At the advanced sales training in Iowa for Eagle Windows I was voted #1 sales person by my 25 colleagues in attendance.Responsibilities included: sales call, take offs, bid preparation, final measurements, order entry, sales call. I was a certified trainer and gave luncheon presentations for AIA continuing education credits.

I administered all aspects of this construction company. I subcontracted as a finish carpenter in the new home market. When working as the lead contractor in our remodeling and renovation part of the business, I handled the sales calls, prepared bids, material budget and the labor costs. Projects routinely included kitchens, baths, additions, basement remodels, and one bridge. I was a certified Pella Installer from 2003-2006

Made sales calls on Builders, Architects and worked with homeowners in the New Home and Residential Remodeling markets. Our Pella certified installations were appointments with homeowners to measure the job and close the sale that night. We then handed off the project to our factory trained contractors. The Architect and Builder relationships were built over time and required patience, likability, and understanding of your products advantages over competitors. Quick reaction to the needs of these professionals was paramount.

Hired to grow a new fundraising company within the sports team market ie. ( Pop Warner, Little League, basketball and wrestling programs). We offered a frozen product that the group would keep 40% of the sale and we would deliver the sellers items prepacked in boxes with their name on it. In the day I canvased town recreation programs for names and numbers of coaches and board members. Over the course of 2 years I grew the business from zero to over 100 groups billing $200,000 annually.

I was a carpenter for all phases of the new home projects. Framing, siding, finish trim, kitchen and bath installs. The homes that Doug Klepper was building, climbed from $250,000 in 1986 to above the 1 million mark by the 1990's. Finish trim became the focus of most of my work from 1991-1994.
