Hired on to an organization with no corporate Procurement function and with zero spend on PO. Began a multi-year Procurement Transformation initiative to in-source Direct spend from a third-party partner, and to implement a robust Procure-to-Pay process for all other addressable spend.• Responsible for Procure-to-Pay process for all direct spend including Parts, Tires, Paint, and 3-Party Repair Services, as well as all Reconditioning related indirect spend including Tools, Equipment, FF&E and MRO totaling over $550MM spend annually.• Selected and implemted Coupa as a P2P platform.• Transitioned all direct sourcing activities from 100% outsourced to 100% insourced. • Led a team of Category Managers responsible for sourcing activities, cost reductions, and managing a supply base through 400% growth over four years.• Diversified the two largest direct categories that had both been sole-sourced. Cultivated relationships with new strategic suppliers that helped enable our explosive growth, as well as delivering improved pricing and service levels.• Identified a strategic platform provider to partner with to develop cXML punch-out catalog capability for OEM parts, including invoice payment processing for participating franchised dealerships, which was not an existing capability within this vertical. • Launched 13 new Inspection and Reconditioning facilities. Led the team that purchased all equipment and materials for each site, as well as leading the stock-in and physical set up for each location.
