As a member of the Network Delivery Team my role entails the following:• Analyse, design and deploy new and additional LAN and WLAN infrastructure through consultation with customers throughout the world.• Management of Key Projects to GSK's Primary Business.• Change management and network documentation• LAN/Wireless technical refreshes to create a fully redundant and standardized environment in line with GSK policy.• Maintaining and updating LAN/WAN routing configurations to advertise new subnets and site systems.• Supporting GSK Data Centre network project deployments.• Aid sites in the deployment of special manufacturing area devices complying with ATEX and IP67 regulations where normal network devices will not meet the required standards.•Vast Cisco experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting; Nexus 7k, 5K, 2k, Cat 650x, 450x, 4948, 3850, 3750/3750x, 3560, 3560x and 2900 series. Autonomous and unified wireless, Wireless LAN Controllers 550x/440x/250x series, various Access Points 11xx, 36xx,37xx, 12xx etc 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. Public wireless implementations within a corporate network enabling BYOD with and without ISE. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, L2/L3 solutions, VLANS and port channels.•Varying levels of projects from whole site tech refreshes to global roll outs.•GSK IT lead for state of the art Shopper Science Lab and Human Performance Lab.
