CollegeInvest manages Colorado's tax-advantaged 529 College Savings Program with options to fit the needs of any Colorado family. Our mission is to be Colorado's trusted resource in breaking down the financial barriers to attaining a higher education through tax-advantaged college savings plans, scholarships and matching grants. We help make saving for college just a little easier with Colorado 529 College Savings Plans. Colorado ABLE are part of CollegeInvest and are going to be launched in Colorado in late summer. ABLE accounts gives individuals with qualified disabilities, and their families and friends, a tax advantaged way to save for disability-related expenses, while maintaining their federal government benefits. Did you know CollegeInvest has a matching grant and scholarship program offered to low and middle income families? For qualifying families the matching grant program matches up to $400 dollars per year for up to 5 years! The Scholarship program is up to $2000 a year up to 4 years. Mike was the Project Coordinator for the Denver Southeast Rotary Class of Dreamers. He began working with the Dreamers in the sixth grade and ran a tutoring and after-school program. Mike has worked as an educational advocate, crisis manager, and community resource provider. During his 6+ years he has dealt with issues surrounding teen pregnancy, homelessness, suicide, and high school graduation.
