Tech Systems is the largest privately held security systems integrator in the US with over 450 employees. Mike was responsible for overseeing support of all TSI National Accounts and growing the region by managing all Sales and Operations in the 12 western states. During his years at TSI, Mike was involved in growing the Sales & Support teams in the major metropolitan areas and adding several new Fortune 1000 accounts.

Mike brought his industry experience and relationships to the new Sharp Robotics Business Development team as the Sharp Intellos robotic solution was introduced to the security industry. Mike built the sales team and distribution channels which introduced the new Automated-Unmanned Ground Vehicle (A-UGV), a new disruptive technology to help change the way traditional security services have been implemented. Unfortunately, after three years of development, Sharp decided to discontinue the robotics program.

As ASG's international business continued to grow, Mike transitioned to the new role of VP of Global Development where he focused on support of key international clients and the global partner program that provided the infrastructure required to deliver and support these complex system installations.

Mike Kobelin joined ASG’s executive management team as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing after the merger between Selectron, Inc. and ASG in 2008. Mike spent 25 years as the Sales & Marketing Manager, Vice President & President of Selectron.Mike led Selectron through multiple phases of new technology developments, and he has served on several dealer advisory boards over the years including working with Westinghouse Security Electronics (formerly Schlage Electronics), Software House, and Panasonic. While at ASG, Mike also served in several on the Board of Directors for PSA Security Network, the world’s largest cooperative of security system integrators.

PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative, elected Mike as the Chairman of the Board in 2009. Mike has been an active member of PSA since 1992 and he spent a total of 16 years on the Board of Directors in various positions including Western Regional Board Member and Vice Chairman.

When Mike joined Selectron in 1983, Selectron was recognized as a leader in the interconnect telephone business in the region. Mike's mission was to grow Selectron's very small footprint in the electronic security industry and build on Selectron's technical expertise to capture new business in the design, installation, and support of complex access control and CCTV systems. After growing to be the largest independent Oregon based company providing these services, Selectron was sold in 2008 to Aronson Security Group in Seattle and Mike transitioned to the role of VP of Sales for ASG.

Mike is an avid Ducks fan and actively follows his team's standings across all sports. He frequently travels to Eugene to catch home games.
