About Mike Kotecki

Hello there!When I was a child I was told you can be anyone if you really want. When I was teenager I decided I want to be an Engineer. After few more decisions on the road I am an engineer in the oil and gas sector.Today, “a few” projects later and Covid-19 slow down I am eager to bring profitability to the new projects within Oil and Gas Industry.I have broad experience of 12 years in the Oil and Gas industry, where I have worked in drilling, subsea, well test, chemical engineering and mechanical engineering.My passion is to improve the current practice in the Oil & Gas industry and invent new ways to enhance efficiently and less costly engineering projects correlated with operations and production of oil and gas during field development. Colleagues know me as a highly focused, superb and highly skilled engineer who can always be trusted to come up with solutions even when faced with difficult tasks. I get on easily with other people from many backgrounds and enjoy the problem-solving issues of a fast-paced oil & gas industry. I am used to working under pressure, with tight deadlines and exacting standards.I have completed a Master’s degree in Drilling and Well Engineering at Robert Gordon University. I also have Master’s degree from University of Aberdeen in Subsea Engineering. I was awarded Masters Degree from Wroclaw University of Technology in Poland in Geoengineering, Mining and Geology.
