Hired full-time within Avon’s Global Corporate Finance IT group in 2009 to provide systems support, analysis, design, and project management for Avon’s Global Finance Transition Projects, including the Global Tax and Treasury departments.• LATAM Finance Transformation Project – Global Finance IT Project Manager and Technical Lead for this sixteen country Latin America Finance transformation project. Designed the Citrix environment needed to support this project’s needs and acted as a liaison between Global Finance IT, the outsource vendor, and various, local and global, IT departments within Avon. Completing this project allowed Avon to consolidate finance applications from 16 countries into four data centers, reduce local FTEs, and simplify future upgrades and administration, while allowing Avon the ability to move those finance operations to the most cost effective support center.• VERTEX International and Domestic Tax Project – worked as a liaison between Avon’s Global Tax department, the vendor, and our Global IT Security department to get approval to allow the vendor to host this process instead of keeping it internal. This change in process reduced IT administration overhead and simplified the day to day and yearly Tax processes for submitting and filing International and Domestic Taxes. • Developed a role-based ID process for vendors which reduced the time needed to grant new users access from two to three weeks to hours.• Managed weekly outsource vendor conference calls to review and prioritize current open IT and process issues to meet service level agreements according to Avon’s needs.

This resulted in over four hundred thousand dollars in revenue for Compufit and a full-time job offer for me after three contract renewals.• Avon Human Resource AsiaPac Transformation Project – provided infrastructure technical support to the project enabling HR applications within Avon’s Global Citrix environment and modifying HR processes allowing Avon to move HR AsiaPac responsibilities quickly and easily to the most cost effective outsourced support center.• Troubleshot and resolved a China HR application process, which was taking upwards of fifty minutes to generate a report, to a new process which took less than a minute to complete.• Contract with Avon was extended three times for the North America Finance Transformation Project where I was asked to provide infrastructure technical lead and support to the project. Worked with global and local IT teams to enable NA Finance applications within Avon’s Global Citrix environment and modify Finance NA processes to give Avon the ability to centralize Finance NA access and shift responsibilities quickly and easily to the most cost effective support center.

This resulted in the success of the project, saving the company over 40 hours of free labor promised the client to rebuild the Citrix servers, as well as a new method of deploying Citrix servers to clients which maximized revenue through reduced deployment hours.• Earned Microsoft’s New York City Best Infrastructure Impact Award for 1998 (a Citrix case study: http://www.citrix.com/press/news/profiles/hudson_valley.htm) for the Hudson Valley Bank infrastructure upgrade project. Designed, implemented, and administered a Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server/Citrix Metaframe server-based infrastructure to address current network upgrades required for potential Y2K issues.
