Mike is a Manager in Deloitte’s GPS practice with over 5 years of experience supporting State Medicaid agencies across operations improvement and implementation, information technology implementation, and strategic project management. He brings experience in project management and planning, technology implementations, and supporting clients with strategic business decisions as they navigate the complexities of modernizing their Medicaid operations and systems.

Aided management of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department with special operational projects. My main project focused on improving clinical operations and staff and physician morale in the main clinical office. I engaged in extensive operational observations and time studies to generate data driven process interventions for improvement to patient throughput and staff and patient satisfaction.

This fellowship focused on imparting and improving Lean management and evaluation techniques in a health care setting with an emphasis on patient safety. Lean quantitative skills and evaluation techniques were improved upon and practiced during real observation sessions.
