I deliver. Over 20 years as a lead developer and tech lead in fortune 100 financial companies. 15-20 years of experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture (Captiva) software. I have led technology teams both small and large for much of my career. Along with strong technical skills, Azure Cloud Architect MSCA, very strong analytical skills in both B.S.A., Break Fix, design, estimation, and project management. Last year I added a "Data Scientist" certification with the State of NC and US Department of labor. I have worked with a very broad range of platforms, software, operating systems, databases, and technologies. People tell me I am really easy to get along with. Idea person with a long track record of making these ideas take form. I am very well practiced at helping less experienced team members grow into experts. Truth is, that is the most rewarding part of my job. Professional relationships for me often turn into lasting friendships. My list of competencies include OpenText (EMC) Intelligent Capture (Captva) (all versions-22.2), Linux, Python, Machine Learning, Windows client/server, Perl, Python, C, C++, C#, VB, Web/CGI, .NET client, Data Modeling, SQL Tuning, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySql, SqlServer, Apache, Java/J2EE, FileNet. This list would be much bigger if I added all of the technology that I have embraced professionally over the years. I am getting very comfortable working with DevOps tools such as Source Safe, Jenkins, Git, subversion, JFrog Artifactory, etc. In my spare time I constantly research new technologies such as microcontroller development and recently AI/Machine Learning.I feel like a lot of people throw around the terms "AI" and "Data Science." I can demonstrate using it in order to apply it to working systems and result in excellent automation (cost, accuracy, taking away repetitive tasks and freeing up talented humans to do the interesting/harder work.)Throughout much of my career I have worked in very high volume enterprise document capture environments in Fortune 100 companies using OpenText™ Captiva (Intelligent Capture) 3.x/6.5/7.1/7.5/7.7/22.3. I love the challenges of developing and support large scale scanning / mailroom. My skills go beyond this software, but I have grown to love it and enjoy working closely with the people that use these systems every day.
