As a Validation Analyst in ESG’s validation practice, I worked with technology vendors to plan, execute, and document the results of hands-on testing with a goal of validating the capabilities of emerging technology products. I'm responsible for all aspects of producing validation reports and videos including defining client needs, creating test plans, performing hands-on validation, developing graphics, and writing reports. I document the results of hands-on tests in reports that are approachable and credible to multiple audiences including senior executives with a focus on why and how the solution matters to the business and technical decision makers with a goal of credibly documenting what was tested, how it was tested, and how to interpret the results.

Design, develop, test, analyze, and document analytical experiments that model anticipated performance of product concepts and enhancements. Offer insight to hardware groups, software groups, highest tier support groups, and QA for future and current products. Interface with marketing groups to help with product placement in the field. Teach best practices and share knowledge and understanding as a mentor to new hires and co-ops.

Researched network encryption and hardware setups using Type 1 network encryptors. Developed automation scripts for performance testing and system testing on encrypted networks. Documented and presented hardware setups for various performance tests.

Researched mobile device image handling and barcode scanning capabilities, as well as barcode storage and barcode creation methods. Built program mock-ups and program prototypes using the C programming language on a Palm OS. Designed and developed presentations for future funding, as well as status updates for continued funding.
